Student Teaching – Day Two

I had the chance to meet more of the staff and faculty at the school today. Additionally I made some inroads into the small school and connecting with the special education teacher. One of my classes has several IEP’s which I look forward to reading up on.

As for actual classes today, the rotating block schedule gives today, a C day, quite a lot of flexibility. Things were pretty laid back and casual with one prep time and a team meeting time. There were only two or three true classes. As a result I had time to review student grades, tests, and other information to help prep my lessons for differentiation. Differentiation – perhaps a main topic for this week.
